Tom Petty Patch, Hand-Embroidered Velvet and Linen with Metallic Goldwork

The portrait n black-and-white is applied to white linen, then hand stitched to rich plum velvet. The embroidery is done entirely by hand using a mix of metallic and vintage flosses and Japanese goldwork threads.
Finished with a gold sacred heart milagro with wings — a small devotional charm whose name means “miracle.”
